Members of House friendship committee meet Indian ambassador

AMMAN — Members of the Jordanian-Asia and Oceania Parliamentary Friendship Committee on Sunday met India’s Ambassador to Jordan Anwar Haleem over means to enhance bilateral relations in various fields.
Commending the Indian experience in various fields, MP Abdel Rahim Al Maaiah, head of the committee, expressed keenness on optimising the available opportunities in both countries, the Jordan news Agency, Petra, reported.
The Indian ambassador, during the meeting, expressed his county's interest in advancing the Jordanian-Indian relations, notably in the parliamentary, economic, trade, investment, agriculture, culture, tourism and education related fields. Jordan has set an example in maintaining security and stability, he said, lauding His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts in this arena.
