AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) on Thursday signed a charter flight agreement to attract tourist arrivals from the Czech Republic to the Kingdom in early October.
JTB Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat and Czech Golden Travel and Tours Company Managing Partner Jana Novotna signed the agreement, which came after the government decision to exempt passengers departing from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba from departure tax.
The decision includes charter, regular and low-cost flights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Arabiyat said that as per the agreement the JTB will support charter flights operated by the Czech company.
Novotna expressed keenness on resuming trips to Jordan after a long travel interruption.
