AMMAN — Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Rashid Marri on Wednesday discussed ways to enhance and activate bilateral cooperation in the legal fields.
During the meeting, Talhouni stressed the deep-rooted Jordan-Kuwait relations, which have become a model for joint pan-Arab action under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah and His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Marri stressed the "longstanding, solid and historic" relations, expressing hope to enhance legal cooperation prospects.
The two sides also went over several issues of common interest and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation to serve common interests, affirming the importance of exchanging expertise in legal fields in the justice sector and the rule of law.
