AMMAN — Cross-border Jordanian drivers of small passenger service vehicles and public buses are permitted to enter Saudi Arabia, Transport Minister Wajih Azaizeh announced on Tuesday.
The minister, in a statement, highlighted the fruitful contacts with Saudi Arabia that led to issuing multiple entry visas for Jordanian drivers. This move will ease passenger movement to and from Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The Saudi embassy in Amman on Monday began issuing visas, the minister said. He called on the Jordanian drivers who cross borders to visit the VFS Tasheel International to submit the visa requirements to the embassy. Visa applicants must be immunised 14 days ago with one of the vaccines Saudi Arabia has approved.
