AMMAN — Jordan, represented by the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority (CARC), won the presidency of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) on Sunday during the elections that took place at the 26th meeting of ACAA’s General Assembly in Rabat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Chairman of ACAA’s Executive Council and Chairman of CARC’s Board of Commissioners Haitham Mesto said that Jordan’s election to council presidency reflects the extent to which the member states of the organisation appreciate the Kingdom and its important role and effort in dealing with the air transport industry data at the regional and international levels.
The ACAA is a specialised organisation affiliated with the Arab League, which aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination among member states in the field of civil aviation.
