4.1-magnitude earthquake recorded in Wadi Araba

AMMAN — An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale at a depth of 16km was recorded in Wadi Araba on Wednesday, according to the Jordan Seismological Observatory.
The earthquake, reported at 2:08 am, hit the area some 35 kilometres south of Wadi Musa and was felt by residents of the Kingdom’s central and southern regions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
