King receives letter from Qatar emir

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received a letter from Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, delivered by Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani.

During a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, King Abdullah asked Sheikh Saud to convey his greetings to the Qatari emir, reaffirming the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples, according to a Royal Court statement.

Discussions covered expanding cooperation between Jordan and Qatar across all sectors, as well as the latest Arab and regional developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and the developments in Jerusalem.
