Culture minister meets Bangladesh ambassador

AMMAN — Minister of Culture Ali Al Ayed on Tuesday met with Bangladesh Ambassador to Jordan Nahida Subhan and discussed ways of cultural cooperation. During the meeting, Ayed shed light on the common cultural and human values between the two peoples.

Ayed also focused on the national plan organised by the ministry with the participation of ministries, institutions and other bodies to celebrate Jordan’s centenary throughout the year. He pointed out that the messages conveyed by the celebration are a translation of the visions of the Hashemite leadership over a hundred years of achievement and prosperity.

He called for deepening cultural exchange between the two countries through organising visits and cultural events, as well as festivals and conferences. For her part, Subhan praised the historical relations between the two countries, reviewing ways to develop ties, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
