AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Crown Prince Hussein, Minister of Social Development Ayman Mufleh on Thursday attended the launch of a dental clinic services at Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans.
The rehabilitation of the clinic, being presented by HRH Crown Prince for residents in the orphanages on the occasion of the World Orphans Day, observed on the first Friday of April, is aimed at intensifying efforts to support orphans.
The renovation included maintenance works of the clinic, equipping the clinic with dentistry devices and furniture, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The clinic will provide services for all children residing in public and charitable-run orphanages, some 1,200 children residing in 20 care facilities across the Kingdom, under the supervision of a paediatric dentist from the Royal Medical Services.
The minister, during the ceremony, reiterated the Crown Prince’s keenness to support orphans and meet their needs, in accordance with the Royal vision to empower all segments of the Jordanian society.
