UNICEF offers 10,000 face masks, 700 sterilisation units to Water Ministry

AMMAN — UNICEF on Monday provided the Ministry of Water and Irrigation with reusable face masks and sterilisation tools, to be used in the ministry’s headquarters and its affiliated bodies.

The agency offered 10,000 reusable face masks made by Jordanian women, who have been supported by UNICIF as part of the organisation’s efforts towards supporting women’s projects. Similarly, 700 sterilisation units were also provided.

Secretary General of the Water Authority of Jordan Ahmad Oleimat lauded the move, expressing appreciation of UNICIF’s ongoing support for the water sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
