Army chief stresses support to military retirees

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) seeks to improve the living conditions of military retirees and offer them the best services and facilities, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti said on Thursday.
Huneiti’s remarks came during a meeting with senators who have served at the JAF and other security agencies, where they highlighted the big role of the JAF in enhancing women’s status through providing them with facilities that contribute to their empowerment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Huneiti also voiced his pride in military retirees and service personnel, stressing that they are the “real support” to the JAF in defending the homeland and protecting its achievements.
