Jordan welcomes implementation of provisions of Riyadh agreement

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Saturday welcomed the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement by the legitimate Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council, and the announcement of a government of political competencies and end of military arrangements.
In a ministry statement, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation of the efforts made by all parties and prioritising Yemen's national interest, as well as Saudi Arabia's endeavours in sponsoring the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement's provisions.
Fayez also expressed hope that this step would contribute to reaching a comprehensive settlement that ends the Yemeni crisis, achieves security, stability and peace, and meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people of growth and prosperity.
