King receives call from Canada PM

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received a call from Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and discussed bilateral ties and means of bolstering strategic cooperation and partnership across all sectors.
Discussions covered the latest regional and international developments, and the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of mutual concern, especially efforts to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and its implications, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah also stressed the need to counter hate speech and promote the values of harmony, peace, and mutual respect embodied in Islam.
