1,100 Filipino guest workers rectify status — embassy

AMMAN — A total of 1,100 Filipino guest workers in Jordan have rectified their status by renewing their annual residencies and work permits before returning to the Philippines.
The Embassy of the Philippines in Amman, in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Wednesday expressed its appreciation for the success of a grace period given to foreign workers to rectify their legal status in the Kingdom.
