Shergo retains Jordan Open title

AMMAN — Shergo Al Kurdi has carded three superb rounds to retain his Jordan Golf Open title at the Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.
Kurdi shot rounds of 73, 70 and a final day 71 on Saturday for a two-under total and an eight-shot winning margin from Morocco’s Ameen Karaz in second.
Another Moroccan, Mahdi Al Fakhuri, finished third. In the age categories, Jordan’s Hamzeh Sulaiman took first place followed by fellow Jordanians Abdullah Hassan and Rayan Hassan. Majd Najada became the first Jordanian to win the women’s title.
