Jordan’s Shergo wins Arab Golf Championships

AMMAN — Rising golf star Shergo Kurdi has won the U-18 Arab Golf Championships in Tunisia, despite still only being 14 years old, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.
The Jordanian youngster finished 10-over for the three rounds, winning by three shots from local player Mahdi Bin Halemeh.
It’s the latest in the long list of tournament wins for Shergo who also won the Arab Boys title last year.
The event welcomed players from 10 countries including the UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Somalia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
