Jordanian captured in Syria released — ministry

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Saturday announced the release of a Jordanian who had been detained by unknowns in Syrian territory.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah said that cooperation between the ministry, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and specialised apparatuses resulted in the release of the citizen, who had lost contact with his family on August 12, noting that the family had reported him as kidnapped the following day, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
