CDD dealt with 261 incidents in 24 hours

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel dealt with 261 incidents over a span of 24 hours including firefighting and rescue, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Friday.
According to the CDD media department, the accidents resulted in 99 injuries, while the CDD personnel dealt with 584 medical emergencies. Meanwhile, two people were killed and five injured in an accident that involved three vehicles on the Desert Highway.
The CDD said that first aid was administered to the injured, who, besides the bodies of the two deceased, were transferred to Al Nadim Public Hospital in Madaba. The injured were reported to be in fair condition, Petra added.
