NGOs secure funding to embark on pro-human rights, democracy drive

AMMAN — The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), the Leaders of Tomorrow Organisation and the East and West Centre for Sustainable Development on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Institute for Non-Violent Action, to begin the implementation of the HADAF project in Jordan, according to an ARDD statement.
The project, funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, seeks to prevent violent extremism through the promotion of democratic values and human rights, reinforcing the role of non-state actors in the process of designing public policies and promoting resilience in communities against the messages of violent extremist groups.
