Irbid youths organise mosque clean-up campaign

AMMAN — A number of youths in Irbid’s Teebeh region on Saturday carried out a campaign to organise and clean up mosques in the area.
The campaign is being implemented in cooperation with Irbid’s Awqaf Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Mohammad Alawneh, the campaign’s coordinator, said that the initiative seeks to promote the benefits of volunteer work and help the youth make the most of their free time during Ramadan.
He shed light on a number of campaigns that will be implemented throughout the holy month to present a bright image of Jordan.
The director of the Teebeh region’s Awqaf Department, Ahmad Nuseirat, commended the efforts of those who participated in the campaign pointing to their positive influence on the development of their community.
