AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abul Saud on Saturday approved an agreement to expand the sewage network in Amman, at a cost of JD340,000.
Abul Saud said that the ministry, represented by the Water Authority of Jordan, has several programmes to include areas that have a high population density and increasing demand on the sewage system, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The third phase of the project includes installing sewage pipelines and house links in various areas of the capital, the minister said, expecting the scheme to finish within six months.
