Tawjihi winter schedule to be announced in next few days

AMMAN — A total of 73,104 students have applied for the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination’s (Tawjihi) winter session. The exams are scheduled to start on January 1, Director of the Examination Department at the Education Ministry Nawwaf Ajarmeh said on Sunday.
Ajarmeh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that 24,758 students will sit for the scientific stream, 32,524 for the literary stream, 5,226 for the industrial and 4,517 for the IT streams.
He said the ministry is expected to announce the examination schedule within the next few days, noting that the students involved will include those who have not passed all of the tests, those who want to improve their averages and those who failed to pass the exam between the winter session of 2005 and 2018’s summer session.
