Labour minister, Qatari official meet over job creation, investment pledges by Qatar

AMMAN — Labour Minister Samir Murad on Thursday received the Charge d'Affaires of the Qatari embassy in Amman Abdul Aziz Al Sada, who extended an invitation from the Qatari government to visit Doha to discuss Qatar's pledges to provide jobs to Jordanian nationals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Earlier in June, Qatar pledged to offer 10,000 job opportunities to Jordanians in Doha and to provide $500 million in investment projects to support the Kingdom's infrastructure and development projects. The meeting was also attended by the Qatari Consul Nasser Mubarak Al Hensab.
