AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Thursday received an air bridge of six Moroccan aeroplanes with humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the West Bank, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The six aircraft, sent from the Mohammad V Foundation for Solidarity, were carrying ten tonnes of food and relief aids upon the directives of the Moroccan King Mohammad VI seeking to mitigate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinians in light of "the difficult circumstances" they are going through.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh received the aids in the presence of the Palestinian and Moroccan ambassadors to Jordan. He said the current assistance is a continuation of several aid initiatives from the Moroccan kingdom to the brotherly Palestinian people.
Mifleh stressed the organisation's readiness for receiving donations to Palestinians, adding that received donations will be delivered to the West Bank in coordination with the Palestinian authority.
