Ramadan working hours announced

AMMAN — Government working hours during the fasting month of Ramadan will be from 10am to 3pm, according to a communiqué by Prime Minister Hani Mulki, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.
The communiqué excludes employees whose work conditions require otherwise, according to Petra. Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is expected to start mid May.

Working hours for state employees during the holy month of Ramadan will be from 10am to 3pm, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour announced on Sunday.
Jordanians will look for the crescent moon (hilal) at sunset on Friday, which means that the fasting month of Ramadan will begin either Saturday or Sunday.
