Jordan, Hungary discuss legal, judicial cooperation

AMMAN — Justice Minister Awad Abu Jarad on Monday received his Hungarian counterpart Laszlo Trochani, who is currently visiting Jordan to discuss means of enhancing cooperation in the judicial and legal fields between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Abu Jarad said that Jordan supports efforts to achieve security and stability in the region, stressing the importance of enhancing joint cooperation to counter common challenges.

He also said that the Kingdom has already joined many countries in ratifying the United Nations Conventions against terrorism, and other accords to counter cross-border crimes.
