Panel discussion reviews youth participation in local councils

AMMAN — Kuluna Al Urdun Youth Commission/King Abdullah II Fund For Development on Sunday held a discussion panel on partnerships with the governorates councils, a statement from the commission said.
The panel, held in cooperation with Amman Governorate Council, aims to enhance the partnership and integration between youth and the national institutions and parties, as part of the national reform process.
Ahmad Abdallat, the council’s president, stressed the importance of meeting with young people to get acquainted with their opinions, proposals, in addition to informing them about the achievements and tasks of the councils.
The Commission Coordinator Othman Abbadi said that the meeting aims to raise the awareness and education of young people to help them take part in the reform process.
