Man dies of burns after tanker fire on Desert Highway

AMMAN — A 40-year-old man on Thursday died of third-degree burns after a tanker loaded with flammable material ignited on the Desert Highway in the area of Qatraneh in Karak, 140km south of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Civil Defence Department personnel extinguished the fire and transferred the body to Karak Public Hospital, Petra added.
