Nine-year-old dead in Amman house fire

AMMAN — A nine-year-old died on Monday of third-degree burns caused by a house fire in Amman’s Sports City neighbourhood, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said Monday.

CDD added that firefighters extinguished the fire and an investigation is under way to identify its cause.
