AMMAN — The Department of Land and Survey (DLS) on Wednesday urged its clients to benefit from the e-services launched recently in cooperation with the ICT Ministry on its website www.dls.gov.jo, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
DLS Director General Muin Sayegh said users can create accounts to benefit from the e-services, which include issuance of records and maps, and to obtain the documents certified after paying the fees online through the eFawateercom system or any of the banks involved in the service.
After paying the fees, clients can get their official documents through the registration directorate chosen by the clients or through regular mail without checking with the department. The DLS’ e-services are in line with the Cabinet’s decision to have a completely “paperless government” by 2020, Sayegh said, adding that they aim to improve service provided to the public through providing simplifying measures and boosting quality.
