Department begins implementing exemptions on apartment fees

AMMAN — The Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) on Sunday began implementing the Cabinet decision to exempt housing apartments sized 150 metres (sq.m.) or less from registration fees.

DLS Director General Moeen Sayegh said the department sent a circular to all its affiliated offices around the country to enforce the decision, which will remain in effect until the end of the year.
