Saudi fund donates $1m to cancer foundation

AMMAN — King Hussein Cancer Foundation on Sunday signed an agreement with the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) in which the fund will donate $1 million to cover the medical expenses of Syrian refugees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation board of trustees, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury and Chairman of SFD Ahmad Al Khatib attended the signing ceremony. The princess expressed her appreciation of the Saudi support to treat Syrian refugee cancer patients.
