Qatar honours outgoing Jordan ambassador

AMMAN — Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday met with Jordan’s outgoing ambassador to Qatar Zahi Mohammad Al Smadi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The emir granted Smadi the Wajba Medal in appreciation of his role in enhancing Jordanian-Qatari relations. For his part, Smadi expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Tamim and Qatari officials for their contribution to facilitating his mission as a representative of Jordan.
