‘Jordan to share renewable energy experience at Abu Dhabi week’

AMMAN — Energy Minister Ibrahim Saif said on Thursday that the ministry will share Jordan’s experience in the renewable energy sector and promote investment opportunities to participants in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, to be held between January 12 and 21. Saif, the head of the Jordanian delegation to the event, said the participation is aimed at exchanging expertise with some 38,000 participants from 175 countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jordan will head the evening session of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s general assembly, scheduled to be held on January 14, on the sidelines of the week, to be hosted by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), the minister said.
