Central bank reports rise in e-payments of bills

AMMAN — Payments made through e-FAWATEERcom in 2016 were worth over JD0.5 billion, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) said payments through the service increased last year. The value of bills paid through e-FAWATEERcom amounted to JD580.8 million in 2016 compared to JD41.6 million in 2015, Petra reported, citing CBJ data.
