AMMAN — The SOS Regional Office of the Middle East and North Africa will be holding its annual “National Directors Meeting of SOS Children’s Villages across MENA” in Jordan this month, according to a statement released by SOS Children’s Villages Jordan on Monday. “It’s a vote of confidence for SOS Jordan,” the statement said.
The meeting is for presidents and national directors of all SOS associations in the region, who will discuss, review and share ways of providing care and support for children without parental care, according to the statement.
The focus of this year’s four-day meeting, scheduled to be held at the Kempinski Hotel in Amman, will be “youth empowerment and employability”, which is a challenge shared by many countries in the area.
