Destroying forest trees is a crime — Hammad

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Thursday chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee to protect forests and public parks, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The committee consists of Environment Minister Yaseen Khayyat, Minister of Municipal Affairs Walid Masri, Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh and Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat.
Hammad stressed that destroying forest trees and illegal logging are crimes that require firm action.
