AMMAN — Poland’s Ambassador to Jordan Krzysztof Bojko on Sunday inaugurated a computer laboratory at the Princess Basma Primary School in Aqaba, the Polish embassy said in a statement.

The lab features 17 desktop computers, printers and other equipment to help students develop their IT skills, the embassy said, adding that the project is one of a series of social development projects across Jordan funded by Poland.

Also on Sunday, Bojko met with Aqaba Governor Hakim Mahameed to discuss bilateral relations and future cooperation between Aqaba and the Polish city of Gdansk, including facilitating trade fairs. The visit coincided with His Majesty King Abdullah’s visit to Poland, the embassy said, noting the increased bilateral cooperation.
