Health minister calls for speeding up Karak Hospital expansion

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Tuesday directed ministry officials to speed up the implementation of project to expand Karak Hospital and develop its old building at a cost of JD15 million.
Sheyyab made his remarks during an unannounced visit to the hospital to check on services there, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister toured the hospital and the expansion project, which includes 230 beds, as part of improving the emergency, gynaecology and neonatal departments.
