AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday urged workers to continue their “tireless efforts” in serving Jordan, as the country prepared to join the world in celebrating Labour Day, which falls on Sunday.
In a Facebook post shared by the official page of the Royal Court, the King congratulated labourers on the occasion, describing them as “builders of our dear country”.
"Brothers and sisters... it is my pleasure to convey to each one of you, my warm greetings, appreciation and support on Labour Day," His Majesty said.
"With your hard work and dedication, Jordan remains strong. I wish you all and our cherished homeland many happy returns," he added.
