AMMAN — Jordan will host the international conference of the Global Healthcare Travel Council this November.
The three-day event is scheduled to feature some 500 worldwide participations, said Fawzi Hammouri, president of the council.
He highlighted the conference as an opportunity to promote Jordan as a destination for medical treatment, tourism and natural therapy.
Hammouri, who is also president of the Private Hospitals Association (PHA), said the conference will be held in collaboration with all concerned stakeholders, including representatives of natural therapy facilities.
Jordan is still the top destination in the Arab world for medical tourism, according to the PHA.
