Clean up needed
Dec 15,2015 - Last updated at Dec 15,2015
We, Jordanians, were so proud when both the new QAIA terminal and revamped airport highway were opened, providing modern gateways to Amman and Jordan.
It is thus extremely shocking and distressing to see that the airport highway is strewn with rubbish on both its sides and on the median separating lanes to and from the airport.
Also, the access road to QAIA and the surrounding area are covered in rubbish.
Where are the concerned authorities?
Why are no efforts being made to properly clean and maintain these roads which are what visitors to the country first see and, as we all know, create lasting impressions?
I urge the concerned authorities and municipalities to clean up these areas since in their current state they put Jordan to shame.
