Housing developers syndicate elects new president

AMMAN — Fawaz Hassan on Saturday was elected as president of the Jordan Housing Developers Association (JHDA), after receiving 293 votes, succeeding Kamal Awamleh, JHDA Elections Committee President Numan Hamshari announced Sunday.
Zeid Tamimi, Nasrallah Nasrallah, Akram Ramadan, Ashraf Khalaf, Jamal Amad, Wael Jimzawi and Mohammad Jilani won memberships at the syndicate’s council, Hamshari said, adding that voter turnout stood at 62.7 per cent, with 690 out of 1,100 eligible voters casting their ballots.
