‘Public Works Ministry starts paying dues to contractors’

AMMAN — The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has started paying overdue fees to contractors, the minister, Sami Halaseh, said Sunday.
He added that most of the contractors have received their payments and the rest will be paid in the next few days.
Halaseh made the remarks at a meeting with the Jordan Construction Contractors Association (JCCA) council, its president, Wael Toukan and several contractors.
Halaseh and Toukan discussed the effect of the fluctuation of oil prices on the JCCA’s work.
