On May 18, the couple will be married in a traditional Nabataean wedding ceremony in Petra. The event will showcase the 2,000-year old wedding traditions of the ancient Nabataean civilisation, the statement said.
It will be held with the help of experts and historians to ensure “a dramatic and historically accurate Nabataean wedding”. Since Alex and Lisa decided to leave their home in Manchester, England in early 2011, they have been on the road and have participated in 67 wedding ceremonies in 62 countries, the statement said.
