Kazakhstan seeks to develop ties with Jordan — diplomat

AMMAN — Lower House speaker Atef Tarawneh on Monday met with Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan Azamat Berdibay and discussed several issues of mutual concern.
Tarawneh highlighted the Kingdom’s reform achievements and outlined Jordan’s position in combating terrorism.
Berdibay said his country is interested in developing its relations with Jordan in various domains.
The ambassador requested Jordan’s support for his country’s bid to secure a seat as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
