‘Avocado, persimmon in local market not from Israel’

AMMAN – The Ministry of Agriculture on Saturday dismissed as baseless reports that the avocados and persimmons currently available in the market are from Israel.
Ministry Spokesperson Nimr Hadadeen said the produce sold in the market at present are from Spain and Greece.
