Rawabdeh discusses cooperation with Algeria, Sudan and Iraq

AMMAN — Senate President Abdur-Ra’uf S. Rawabdeh on Tuesday received Algeria’s Ambassador Mohammad Quwar and Sudan’s Ambassador Othman Hamad.
In two separate meetings, Rawabdeh and the envoys discussed ways to boost parliamentary cooperation with their respective countries.
Also on Tuesday, Rawabdeh commended the formation of a Jordanian-Iraqi brotherhood committee at the Iraqi parliament.
During a meeting of the Senate’s Jordanian-Iraqi committee, he called on the two panels to coordinate and form unified stances on regional and international issues.
Rawabdeh underlined the Kingdom’s position in supporting the stability and security of Iraq and rejecting all forms of terrorism and extremism.
