AMMAN — The Ministry of Municipal Affairs will receive Tuesday new machinery as part of the $10 million Japanese grant to the Kingdom.
Abbas Hmeisat, media director at the ministry, on Sunday said the machinery includes 31 garbage trucks, nine water tankers, nine wastewater tankers, 16 wheel loaders and 69 other vehicles, along with their spare parts.
The ministry has previously received 16 wheel loaders from the Japanese grant. The vehicles were distributed to different municipalities and districts.
The handing-over ceremony will take place at the Zarqa Free Zone, said Hmeisat.
