By Petra - Nov 04,2014 - Last updated at Nov 04,2014
AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, Arab Thought Forum (ATF) president, has called for a global analytical strategy to understand human nature and the natural environment.
Speaking at a dialogue session recently held by ATF to discuss Mohammad Abu Rumman’s book “I am a Salafist: Research into the real and imagined identity of Salafists”, Prince Hassan stressed that coming up with such a strategy is a priority for Arabs in light of the threats facing Arab identity and the absence of constructive dialogue among the different schools of thought.
The prince highlighted the importance of openness and adopting common values and ideologies.
Participants called for making the true culture of Islam known around the world to preclude radicalism among young people and fostering values of moderation.
